Anshula Kapoor’s Pre-Wedding Festivities Begin As Kapoor Family Comes Together

Anshula Kapoor’s wedding celebrations with fiancé Rohan Thakkar have officially started. The Kapoor family recently had a cosy and intimate pre-wedding function. The festivities were joyous, celebratory, and filled with family moments. Shanaya Kapoor shared a few beautiful glimpses from the special occasion on Instagram.

She was accompanied by her family members – her father Sanjay Kapoor and her mother Maheep Kapoor, and her brother Jahaan Kapoor in the pictures. Other members of the family were also invited to celebrate. Anshula's siblings Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were also there. They added an extra special element to the pre wedding venue.

Sharing the family moments online, Shanaya wrote, "we love you @anshulakapoor @rohanthakkar1511" along with heart and evil eye emojis. The photos showed the family dressed in elegant traditional outfits. Everyone looked happy while celebrating Anshula and Rohan’s upcoming wedding.

Couple Seeks Blessings Before Their New Journey

The pre-wedding celebrations begin with spiritual Mata Ki Chowki. Anshula and Rohan were seen seeking blessings during the ceremony.

The couple offered prayers together in videos captured in the event. Later it was transformed to a happy celebration of music and dance.

Togetherness, smiles and love were the ingredients of the Kapoor family's celebration of the occasion. This event was to show the relationship that they had before their marriage.

Anshula Kapoor & Rohan Thakkar’s Love Story

Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar got engaged in July 2025. She announced the engagement with romantic pictures from their proposal. Talking about their love story, Anshula shared that they started talking through a dating app in 2022.

She wrote, "We started talking on a Tuesday at 1.15 am and ended up talking for hours."

Recalling the proposal moment, she added, "Three years later, in my favourite city, in front of the castle in Central Park, he proposed!"

Anshula also revealed that the proposal happened at the same time they first connected. She called the moment "like magic."

In her engagement post, she shared, "It was intentional, thoughtful, real, us. I said yes. Through ugly tears, shaky laughs, and the kind of happiness I can’t put into words,"

Anshula Kapoor is the daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and the late Mona Shourie Kapoor. She shares a strong bond with her siblings. The latest family celebration showed the love and support surrounding Anshula and Rohan’s new journey.
