Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Sharan Sharma's Star-Studded Reception Lights Up Mumbai After Intimate Wedding

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma are officially married. Just a day after their intimate wedding, the newlyweds hosted a grand reception in Mumbai on July 12. The evening turned into a glamorous celebration as several Bollywood celebrities gathered at the wedding venue to bless the couple. Photos and videos from the event are now going viral across social media.

Akansha & Sharan’s Elegant Reception Looks Grab Attention

For the reception, Akansha chose a stunning light gold mermaid lehenga by Gaurav Gupta. The outfit featured crystal embellishments and a flowing cape. She completed her look with elegant jewellery and soft makeup.

Sharan Sharma looked equally stylish in a classic black bandhgala. He paired it with black trousers and polished leather shoes. Together, the couple chose a timeless black-and-gold theme that impressed everyone.

Their wedding look was completely different from the reception style. Akansha had worn a traditional red Arpita Mehta saree with classic jewellery. Sharan kept his wedding outfit simple in an ivory kurta, jacket, and trousers.

The couple exchanged vows during a sunset ceremony at their Mumbai home. Interestingly, they got married on July 11, the same date they started dating four years ago.

While sharing their first wedding photos, Akansha wrote, "Tu na toh ghar ghar nahi lagta, tu hain toh darr nahi lagta (Home doesn’t feel like home without you, I don’t feel fear with you there)."

Bollywood Celebrities Join the Grand Celebration

Many celebrities from the film industry were at the reception. Alia Bhatt was seen in a gorgeous black embroidered saree at the event. The only thing she added to her look was a maang tikka, coordinating earrings, and a simple black bindi.

Ranbir Kapoor was present at the sangeet ceremony for Akansha, but has not been spotted at the reception. Anushka Ranjan, Akansha's sister, also made headlines in a red Banarasi silk saree. Her husband, Aditya Seal, joined her in the photo shoot.

The reception was graced by the presence of several Bollywood celebrities, including Bobby Deol, Boman Irani, Sonakshi Sinha, Neena Gupta, Vivek Mehra, Mahima Chaudhry, Jeetendra, Poonam Dhillon, Boney Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff, Ronit Roy, Amol Parashar, Roop Kumar Rathod, Shatrughan Sinha and his wife.

Alia Bhatt's family too took part in the celebration. The event was attended by Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan and Shaheen Bhatt. Shaheen came in with her fiancé Ishaan Mehra.

The night was truly magical, with all the elements coming together to highlight the couple's new life. They have been married in stylish attire, they have had a close romance, and their reception was filled with Bollywood.
