After months of speculation, Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt are officially married. The couple tied the knot on Sunday in a private ceremony at Aamir's residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The wedding was a close-knit affair, attended only by family members and a few close friends from the film industry.

The wedding was held in Aamir Khan's Mumbai residence, in a private affair. The actor's representative confirmed that the couple are married now. Aamir's children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, were available at the ceremony. Close friends like filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, actors Rhea Chakraborty, Elli Avram, comedian Vir Das, former cricketer Irfan Pathan and politician Raj Thackeray also attended the celebrations.

Among the sweetest moments of the wedding was a video that was shared by Irfan Pathan. Aamir and Gauri exchange vows, and then share a dance and a warm hug. The emotional moment was immediately embraced by fans, which made this video go viral online.

Their Love Story Began Long Before They Started Dating

Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt are dating from 2024, but they met almost 25 years ago. The two were reunited in Bengaluru via Aamir's cousin Nuzhat Khan. Soon, their friendship evolved into a relationship, and almost a year later, they went from a long-distance relationship to official.

Aamir called Gauri his 'partner' for the first time during his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025. Once their romance took a turn for the serious, Gauri moved from Bengaluru to Mumbai with her son from her previous marriage. She has also been a part of Aamir Khan Productions, where she now assists with the company's work after previously working with a haircare brand.

Simple Wedding Was Always the Plan

Even after introducing Gauri to the world, Aamir had shared that he wasn't planning to marry again anytime soon. But, he admitted he felt happy and settled in the relationship. The pair has been going steady for more than a year and last month Aamir announced that they have decided to marry.

Recently, Aamir appeared at the Pritam and Pedro streaming premiere last week, which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. There, he announced that the wedding will be a registered marriage followed by a small party with family and friends.
